Kristin Thornsberry, CPNP, is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Kristin received her Masters of Science in Nursing Degree from Vanderbilt University in 2015.
Kristin is an experienced Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with 3 years of direct pediatric care. She uses a holistic approach to caring for pediatric patients as well as incorporating evidence based practice guidelines, patient observations and intuition to care for the whole patient and their family.
Kristin joined Deming Pediatrics in October of 2017. She is responsible for direct patient care including but not limited to patient health assessments, diagnosing, and treating pediatric patients ages newborn to 17 years.
Prior to her work with Deming Pediatrics, Kristin worked in the Pediatric Emergency department at Norton Children’s hospital from 2014 - 2015 where she served patients ranging from seizure patients, acute injury and illness, respiratory distress, and cardiac arrest.
Kristin has also worked in an inpatient pediatric med/surg and rehab unit with pediatric patients which required a high level of care that included ventilator patients, traumatic brain injuries, tracheostomy patients, abuse cases, stroke patients, and spinal cord injuries.
Kristin is currently pursuing a Doctorate and PhD in Alternative Medicine as well.
