Dr. Olukunle is a board-certified pediatrician having completed a three-year pediatric medicine residency at State University of New York, Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York. During her residency, she provided continuity of care to newborns and children, both inpatient and outpatient, caring for patients less than 21 years old and from a culturally diverse community.
Dr. Olukunle obtained her undergraduate degree in 2012 at Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria. She was the house officer for pediatrics and surgery and went on to serve as the medical officer of the Guards Brigade Medical Center (National Youth Service Corps) as the Senior Medical officer at Peace Care Hospital in Abuja Nigeria. She was responsible for the medical consultation and management of in-patients and out-patients for obstetrical, gynecology, pediatrics, and internal medicine from March, 2013 to August 2015.
In 2019, Dr. Olukunle served as a Clinical Extern and Preceptor at La Providence Pediatrics and Family outpatient clinic in Houston, Texas and for Administer Medical Associates in Hazel Crest, Illinois. During this time, she also attended Harvard University online to study the epidemic opioid crisis in America.
Dr. Olukunle is an avid volunteer, having volunteered for the following organizations:

Dr. Olukunle is Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. She loves to travel and experience new cultures and she enjoys cooking and exploring new cuisines. She also spends time swimming, hiking, and exploring nature. She has a passion for teaching children and has an interest in child advocacy and domestic violence prevention. Dr. Olukunle said “I am so happy to be practicing in a place like Deming, with its diverse culture and the beauty of the natural surroundings. I am looking forward to meeting people and providing needed pediatric care.”
