Dr. Mital Patel, has twelve years of experience. He completed his residency at the Medical College Baroda University, in Vadodara, India, after obtaining his medical degree from there in April of 2011. During his residency Dr. Patel was a volunteer researcher for Orthopedic Surgery at Stanford University from 2007-2008. Following residency Dr. Patel completed Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York in 2014, and a Musculoskeletal Tumor Fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle in 2015.
Before joining Mimbres Valley Medical Group, Dr. Patel was one of the Orthopedic Surgeons at Alta Vista Regional Medical Center in Las Vegas, N.M., and the Orthopedic Surgeon at Lea Regional Medical Center in Hobbs, N.M.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the International Congress of Joint Reconstruction.
When Dr. Patel isn’t working, he likes to play cricket, enjoys track and field. Is an avid read and world traveler.
